Last night (April 27th) I purchased a couple of items from the Central States auction held by Heritage. These were for research purposes and not as a collection.
This morning (the 28th) I received a message that the items had been shipped !

OMG, how did you get them to do it? Because I pay be e-check they make me wait an extra week and then they are slow to ship after that. I had my eye on a beautiful 1912-D Lincoln in that auction but bidding was many thousands past what I wanted to pay. A 1926-S went for $36k!

They send my winnings before payment as well. Must be some kind of "trusted" list we are in.
They've only done that for me one time.....usually, it's a 7-14 day wait.

After having a delay on one item, I corresponded with them, and I gotten the same service as Roger. I do have a good reputation with a number of dealers.

If you are a legacy client Heritage will ship before you pay. Helps them a bunch so they don't have to ship coins back to the office from a sale!
I often pick up items from the Sunday session so I'd rather wait and receive all of the lots together.
However it happened, I wanted to express my surprise and appreciation to Heritage. Whenever I buy something it is for research, so it gets sold within a few months. I can't afford to hang on to research items; I look, examine, then toss it back into Great Coin Lake.
(I will also add - the Heritage Auction database of high quality photos and descriptions is of immeasurable value to anyone doing numismatic research. Heritage should be congratulated for taking a long-term, quality image approach to their auctions.)
