I don't see a rim die crack;
I see a coin that's been cut
or sheared after it was in
circulation.
Is that what you're talking about?
I am just being sarcastic....been here less than a year & wondered if long time members know how long this type of (nonsense) posting usually lasts?
I think they stay permanently, or at least until the forum is replaced or closed down.
I meant how long a member can continue with silly spamming posts?
Based on recent events I am not sure "forever" is the wrong answer for that question also.
Sorry, I didn't get it - now I do.
As mentioned, the posts stay around basically 'forever'.
As far as CU members answering a new member's dozens
and dozen's of posts of their pocket change, with no info
or what they see on the coin - it appears that at some point,
that poster is ignored, and then, not surprisingly, in many
cases, they never post here again.
Ignoring the thread is the only defense. It works with time

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
The ease of signing up means troll accounts come readily.
Don't expect trolling to stop.
Then there are the real questions. They won't stop either.
Just sit back and ignore it or play along. It's all you can do.
Gee, that should be slabbed!
Easily an MS 70+

I don't normally reply to nonsensical stuff. I'll view it, then leave.
Sometimes though, I just HAVE to answer in some stupid way.

Eventually, they stop... usually when their mother calls them up from the cellar for supper...

Does it work as a bottle opener? Looks a little small.

Actually, the coin has the Blakesley Effect centered at about 8 o'clock, metal flow present in the R of LIBERTY, and proper tappering of the design rim into the metal-absence. This was damaged before the strike, not after.
I know this thread isn't about the coin, but......
