    Looks like machine doubling to me.
    Look at the top bar of the letter 'E' in we, flat and shelf like.

    It appears to be machine doubling... certainly no tripling...Cheers, RickO

    Classic machine doubling. Look at the top right of the 'E' in 'WE'. The doubling goes around the corner of the letter. This is the main tell for machine doubling, aside from the flat, shelf-like appearance of the secondary image. If it were a doubled/tripled die you would see a notch there.

    What the heck is that on the E to the left?

    Two dimples?

    And I agree, the G looks split.

    I see shelves not notches.
    Shelves usually mean machine doubling.
    Notches usually mean doubled die. (or tripled, or quadrupled)
