Indian Head Cent error?

Good day all!
I'm new here, but have been posting on the automotive forums for years... I've come into a "lot" of old coins from my grandfather... it's been great fun looking thru them and I've been hooked for good!
I found a few neat errors... "BIE" error... closed 9... however, the most interesting is this 1896 IHC missing the final "A" in AMERICA.... Is this possible? Dirty die that pressed most of the "A"?
I think I'm too new to post a pic... I have more than a few... none look like the "A" had been purposely rubbed away... otherwise, the coin is very clean with lots of detail...
Thanks!

There we go.... I think....
Yes, die fill error on the A
Welcome, you found the right place.
Nice find. Also, notice the "L" in the ribbon. This is the initial of [James B.] Longacre the designer.
Nice find!

Thanks everyone! I have a lot more I want to share, but please forgive me if what I show are run of the mill coins! I'm still learning this super amazing hobby!
Thoughts on the value of the error IHC?
Thanks again!
Not much of a premium...perhaps even a discount as most don't get excited about die filled coins. Kills it for a type collector!
PS I do own the earliest dated Lincoln cent I know of hanging around here somewhere. I found it over 40 years ago. It is dated 196-D. There is absolutely no trace of the 4th digit and I think that would certainly bring a premium over the 1-2 cent value of a non filled die coin!
