New 1831 Bust Quarter to Share - Guess the Grade - Grade Revealed

I just picked up this 1831 Bust Quarter. It has the 'Small Letters' reverse and is a B-1 die marriage. It's a later die state and you can see some cool cracks on the reverse. It's untoned, but isn't what I would call a 'white' coin (if that makes sense). Thought it would be interesting to see what you guys would grade this coin, so guess the grade if you would. Additionally, comments/feedback both good and bad welcomed.

It looks gem to me and may be near condition census. Just a guess. I've never owned one over XF45.

Nice coin. Probably 63 but 64 wouldn't surprise me.

65 was my first reaction. I don't see any big marks, so to me It all depends on the luster, and it's a bit tough to judge from that photo.
But who the hell cares what it grades. Look at the luster and strike!

Confusing because there appears to be cabinet friction on the eagle's feathers, but looking at the fields it certainly doesn't look like the coin ever circulated.
MS 64 , and a really neat coin.
Commems and Early Type
Very nice - old school 63, probably in a 64 holder....if the luster is better in hand, then easily a solid 64.
My first thought was 63 because the luster looks subdued. 64 is certainly possible.
MS65.... That is a very nice coin..... I may be a bit high on my guess, but I really like that coin and based on the pictures, it is one I would want....Cheers, RickO

That's a nice mark free 1831 B-1, msch1man. Not seeing it in person, I think I'm going to venture an MS63 guess. I can tell there is luster, but I can't tell how strong it is from the pictures. Your piece has some light toning, while my example would be considered a "white" coin. Great pick up.

I would think at the very least it's an ms64.
A 65 could be the right number.

Thanks for all the guesses and comments. The coin is in a PCGS MS-63 holder. I bought the coin from Mike Printz at Harlan J. Berk (who took the wonderful photographs of the coin). He described it as follows "Exceptionally clean, wonderful luster and eye appeal and uncommonly nice, certainly by today's standards for sure."...which I would 100% agree with. It was graded quite a while ago (recently bought back from the same collector he sold it to 15 years ago or so) and I wouldn't be surprised if re-submitted raw if it came back a 64 today.
This was the first coin I've bought from Mike at HJB and would without a doubt recommend them to anybody...real easy to work with and more than willing to answer questions (even outside of work hours over Easter weekend!). Definitely top notch.
