Why would it crosses? Is it from NGC to PCGS and grade does not cross? I am sorry to hear that.

It can be addicting.
I do better with crack-outs than crosses. If there's nothing iffy about the coin submit it raw.

I don't blame you. The spread from 64 to 65 is pretty big.
So, PCGS is unwilling to go along with 65 when viewing through plastic and considering what it might conceal. Maybe you should just let it go and live with the ANACS holder.
But if you are a betting man...or believe in the coin...then cracking is not irrational. A PCGS 65 is a big money jump from blue ANACS.
I like to gamble so if I thought it was deserved, I'd crack it and, at the same time, accept that I might have to resubmit it a few more times.
Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose gambling. The wins keep you coming back.
I suck at golf. But every time I hit a killer shot it makes up for all those crappy ones and justifies the stupid green fees.

...or maybe Anacs overgraded the coin.

Crack that sucker, and forget crossover.
Even moreso in an ANACS slab (nothing against their grading standards or consistency).
That's obviously much easier to say when it's your money, not mine, at risk.

If you want to sell it and get all the money you need it in a PCGS holder. You could try blow out on bay start at 20 pct below bid as it is c what happens.
You invested in a big ticket coin in a non Pcgs / NGC holder. Good luck. Now it’s time pay some tutuion. Take it to a show shop around the bourse c what they offer if at all.
Numismatic Investment risky (especially big ticket material) if investing in big ticket material over $300 I recommend bullion coins unless your experienced playing both sides of the ball.
Yup, PCGS recently did not cross a gorgeous coin with a CAC sticker on it that I sent in. So next is to crack it and send it in as Lance noted.

I'd wait and try to cross it one more time.
If that doesn't work, then either crack it, sell it or enjoy as is.
Personally, I would sell it and then use the money to buy a PCGS example.

Lets see pics of the coin. I'm surprised people are just saying crack it out and let it ride without even seeing the coin... never mind the coin over doubling in price ($3,200-$7,500) from 64 to 65.
Another aspect people haven't mentioned is that PCGS has tightened up recently, and Morgans are one of the series where I have heard this feedback a lot. Maybe wait a few months if you're not looking to flip the coin and try crossing again IF they loosen up a bit.
I would just leave it as is. You either live with it or sell it.
What does the coin look like?
Is this an old ANACS holder with the blue writing on the label? I would never crack it in a million years. There are collectors who will pay up for those; the old, old holders are collectibles in their own right.
heres a thought ....if you think it would cross to NGC do that first...then wait to a while and see if it has a chance of crossing to PCGS...they may look at it in a different light.....just a thought.

There is really no crossover for non-PCGS coins ATS. NGC makes you sign an agreement that they can crack all non-PCGS coins and grade them raw with no guarantees.
