Are any of you guys being asked the same cc info, even though they had it up until a couple of days ago?

nope has it expired? I would go directly to PAYPAL and see what is up, you might be redirected to a scam site.
Like Dave said, make sure it's not a phishing email. If it came directly from PayPal, I guess you have to reenter the info. Seems like they did that with me years ago...

Yes sounds like a scam email. I got one recently that was pretty deceiving and almost caught me. Like others have said go directly to PayPal don't click any email links.
In the past, some eBay auctions redirected you to 'their' payment processor. If that is the case, I would not enter my CC info there to get to PayPal. Tell the seller of the coin, there is a problem with their PAYPAL linkage and ask for a PAYPAL invoice.
Occasionally ebay has tried to have me pay via credit card on their site instead of directing me to paypal which I have set up as my preference. Maybe this is what is happening for you.
We need to know the source of the request. If it is when you log into PayPal directly, it is legit. If it came to you via email, it is a phishing scam.

Yep, same thing happened to me a couple years ago. Not sure why but it was not a problem.
Deal only directly with Paypal.... I would telephone them and discuss the issue.... sounds weird to me. I have never had that issue.... but would not comply if it did happen to me.... Cheers, RickO
report to spoof@paypal.com and they usually answer promptly.

Do NOT open the link although it looks like Paypal with the blue logo etc; it is a SPAM! If you hover your "curser" on the sender address; it's show not the official Paypal address. Report it to spoof@paypal.com as jesbroken suggested.
A week ago I sold a coin on eBay and shipped it the same day it was paid. I checked my PayPal account Friday and the charge was reversed the same day it was paid. PayPal claimed it was an eBay error- now I have to try and collect from the buyer again. PayPal did say i was covered by seller protection. So it may be legit. But warning I have also gotten scam emails in the past regarding my PP account, so the advice above to call PP is right on.
Was this a rather expensive coin, higher than many peoples credit card limit?
Perhaps the card on file was expired.
I got an email wanting info. Said my cc was about to expire. Not so. Did not reply. Scam
