PCGS error on sample slab

The sticker is removed now but I don't wanna dig her back out.

It took me awhile to see. The seller missed it, too.

I guess so did PCGS.

Wondering if this adds any value to the coin? Err, slab, I guess.

    A skosh - a $10 sample becomes $12 for the novelty...

    Understand, apparently in the manufacturing process they didn't really check carefully - it's a dime sample, that's a dime. What's a few 1000 miles among friends.

    There are multiple examples of errors; wrong coin numbers, missing or wrong mint marks listed, state names spelled incorrectly, etc. The most valuable one I know of was the 2004 Collectors Club ASE that contained a 2001 coin.

    Mechanical error. I believe if you return it to PCGS, they will fix it at no cost.

    That's what I was afraid to hear but I've already received tempting offers and it's only a few hours later.

    Hey, @Azurescens, if people want to pay more believing it is somehow rare and valuable, who are you to disabuse them of the notion. Take the $ and run.
