Researching the 1876 T$1 counterstamped with Parisian Varieties.

It is plated in Bowers Trade Dollar reference and found in two auction catalogs, one from Bowers & Merena Sept 9-11 1985 and is the Ex: Van Ormer and then in Stack's Oct 9/30-10/2 2010 Ex: Tony Terranova. It is also plated in Brunk, the only question I have is in Brunk he mentions there are 2 1876 Trade dollars with this counterstamp, and the second one is the one I am trying to verify. Would anyone here know where the second one lies? Here is a photo of the catalog from 2010:

I have no idea where it may be, however, I would question why there are only two? As a promotional item, one would think there would be several more. Cheers, RickO

I assume you're not looking for the one in your picture, which just sold on eBay last week for $1,026...?

I'm addicted to exonumia ... it is numismatic crack!

I can't speak to the whereabouts of the second coin, but I believe that Bowers wrote about this particular counterstamp in his 'Coins and Collectors: Golden Anniversary Edition'.

I can copy the information once I get back to my house tonight.
