Some Ancient Greek gold eye candy..

This bull pendant is from around 400 BCE. I think I remember seeing it in the Athens Museum but I can’t be sure. You’d need to spend days there to see it all and appreciate it.

    I wonder is it Minoan? I remember seeing a lot of bull murals way back in '67 when I got to go to Crete and explore the Palace of Knossos, home of the dreaded Minotaur. Wonderful memories!

    Ah, here we go ...

    Update ... well, I answered my own question ... the Minoan civilization is much older.

    Way too small for a door knocker. Also, it would be quickly stolen since it's gold. :D
