For all the OCD's in all of us, my little project. Favorite designs of Daniel Carr :-)....Post yours

Yes, I absolutely adore these 2 designs that Daniel Has done. I owe member @jwitten here a huge thanks for making this possible. I started out with 2 of each coins but always wondered how to display them. I also wanted to buy additional ones but that soon proved to be nearly impossible or excessively expensive as both coins are lower mintages. I wanted the one ounce silver Lesher/Gruber designs for the bottom display. There are many other types available but I like this one the best.
He was kind enough to sell me all of his and I was able to put this together. I need to add @jwitten also sold me the strips too.........well more like I pushed him into it
I hope you guys like this and input would be nice. I was thinking since I love both designs so much to put them all in one frame. From a resale standpoint its probably better to do single frames but I'll be keeping this pretty much forever.
I also thought to place the 2 inserts from the coins above just to identify and show DC's signature.
I think I will have a problem mounting them as there are a few problems
1) Coins are larger then frame as everyone knows when the coin is struck it gets slightly larger.
2) the 1.5 bouncers are thicker than the 1 ounce coins...........Anyone have suggestions/solutions?
Let me know what you guys think....good or bad.
.
And maybe we could turn this into a DC thread of your absolute favorite designs

Try setting the bars on top of the coins. I think it makes for a cleaner look. And yes, mounting it was the big issue I always dealt with! Glad you like them all
Thanks for the input. II was so excited when they arrived in the mail I just received them in the mail and placed them to image. I have to work out the best placement.

Neat !
I have not attempted to make a display like that myself, but here are some possibilities:
1) Place the tokens next to the strips instead of behind or in front of them.
2) Enlarge the holes by filing (would take a while and wouldn't be very easy).
3) Make one layer of clear acrylic with cutouts for the strips and another layer with cutouts for the tokens. Then place one in front of the other and drill holes in the corners to screw the whole thing together like the old Capitol Plastics holders.
.
Tokens?
Legitimate numismatic issues being called, "TOKENS?"
I put my 2 Oz peace token in a 50 MM capsule, then inside a Majic frame, I'll do the same for the 50 MM KOCT medals too

@Twobitcollector, that is an awesome idea!. Not sure if it will work for the DC coins but I have some
other coins that would work.
