Is your coin collection safe from the next Nor'easter?

Let's hope so.
But they might not be secure from one of these Jovian cyclones:

If I lived there I might put a few of my insured mistakes out on the front stoop

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
Imagine trying to store an old silver coin in an envelope there?

Is 2,500 miles away safe enough?

Absolutely, but only because I'm a West Coaster.

Sure, it is just normal winter here. A bunch of snow and temps around 0.
That Jupiter photo is really strange. It can't be photographed in the infrared temps that we are used to. The average temp there is 230 F below zero.
You have to be fully protected with fire rated safe bolted to the floor, and heavily armed in case of a dangerous home invasion.....
My dog's, cameras, and alarms will keep any noreaster away......

We are getting hammered again. On Friday we got 16", knocked out power at 9:00AM, then added another 4" Sunday just for fun. Right now there is about another 14" of the white stuff and it's still snowing and blowing. Just the usual winter.
All the coins here plus the good ones in the SDB are safe from nor'easters and jovian cyclones.
Successful BST deals with mustangt and jesbroken. Now EVERYTHING is for sale.
Nice gold. The Jupiter pix reminds me of a pepperoni pizza.
My coins are safe and happy...they do not even know about the Nor'Easter...and we got a bunch of snow....Cheers, RickO
Living in Idaho, I'm confident that mine are safe.

If the core of Jupiter is similar to Earth, there's likely a colony of aliens living 10,000 miles underground having a blast!
The more qualities observed in a coin, the more desirable that coin becomes!

You're not worried about your coins being safe when the bottom is about to drop out from beneath you? They do say, its more of a matter of when than if.

I am worried about when all the ice melts and the oceans rise 200 feet - I hope I have enough time to get to higher ground.
Not all West Coasters live along the San Andreas fault. :-)
But if the ground falls away where I live, I doubt I'll be in good enough shape to care what happened to my coins.

We only got 8 inches this time. Heard some place in New Jersey got 32 inches. But for us it was no big deal.
I just threw my body across the coins during the last 2 nor'easters.

Another one coming early next week..... Sit tight and keep warm... .Cheers, RickO
RE: "Nice gold. The Jupiter pix reminds me of a pepperoni pizza."
The 1908 $5 is (in my opinion) MS-65. The last pepperoni pizza I bought was more like VF....nehhhh.
I had 13 trees blown over but none hit my collection. If it had been stored in an unlucky chevy pickup in my back yard it would have been mildly smushed. 6 days without electricity was the main issue. 7 days without internet though felt like a vacation
I swear I am using my Air Conditioner in my office today in sunny SoCal
Since I am in FL, I should be safe from Nor'Easters. For Hurricanes though, I evacuate with my toys so I am generally safe from those too....a surprise tornado might be a different story though.
