I saw this, and I'm glad I'm no longer collecting Lincoln Cent varieties. Because I'd go get a second mortgage to take home that 1958 ddo! Always a dream of mine to own that. Any pre auction estimates? And, as an owner of 1 of 3, Stewart, if bidding isn't spirited, do you protect your investment and bid the price up? Do you have an interest in acquiring another?

A six figure coin for sure in my humble opinion
I agree, and completely worth it if you have the means. A dream coin, both dramatic and enigmatic.

That is a stunning coin.
Is the 58 as dramatic as the 55.?
Close but not quite.
I consider the 58 DDO to be Mint employee shenanigans...
Does anyone know why he is selling or if he will be selling his other sets?

That would be considered Offset Hub Doubling, right?
That is one amazing Lincoln!

Thanks for posting the coin Dave. Hard to believe only 3 minted.
Probably many more minted, but only three got out. Should be very interested to see how high this one goes.
