I hope to be there, depending on the lack of snow and ice.
Why the high fee for early bird admission?? Seems strange.... Do not forget show reports... Cheers, RickO
I am curious as well, I did not see that. Will be there Saturday when the doors open!
I believe that it's always been $50. Or it has been the last few years.
Wow... that is expensive... especially since regular admission is free.... One would have to find some great deals to justify that expense... Cheers, RickO
I don't set the fee. How much is an early bird badge at FUN? There are usually 1 or 2 dealers who don't set up, but walk the floor. Why do they deserve a cheap shot at the best stuff?
@BAJJERFAN.... Not sure about FUN... but in the PNW it used to be $10 at the larger shows... may be higher now...Cheers, RickO
Hope it will be a well attended show!
BTW -- What is an "A RAMA" thing as in "Coin A Rama?" Is it like "Watergate" without Nixon?

Since it's commonly used, I'm guessing A RAMA is slangspeak for event or happening.
I think it has something to do with Ramen Soup.

Been to this show many times. We’ll run with a good size group of dealers. My only suggestion is find a larger venue. One person sitting at a table with a large midriff creates gridlock. Very tight aisles. Hope it’s a successful show for the Ames club
We are looking forward to having a table there again, stop by and say hi if you like. Our business cards are set out between the display cases. Nomad Numismatics so you can find us.
I remember "Scout a Ramas" in the early 60's.
Perhaps Iowa is in a bit of at time warp.

Might be all those soy beans.....
This was my first coin show as a kid (I was 9 at the time)! I think it was at a Holiday Inn then. Lived in Ames when I was 9-12 yrs old and really where my interest in coins first blossomed. Great memories.
Welcome to Iowa, It's not the end of the world but you can see it from here. Or there if you're a non-resident.
c'mon back
Reminds me of "Error A Rama" way back when.
