1912 $5 Indian--grade?

I saw this coin as an Unc., probably MS62 due to the chatter on the reverse. Anyone venture to guess how it would grade? I put in a bid, did not win, sold for $635 today.

Obverse looks like a 63 to me but the reverse is a bit rough. I'm terrible at grading these Indians. Overall 61-62 would be my uneducated guess.
The whole worlds off its rocker, buy Gold™.

Wooooha! Did someone just say it's officially "TACO™" Tuesday????
I agree with both of you... perhaps a bit too much chatter on the reverse to make 63 or higher. Luster would need to really pop at higher levels as well.
I think that you did good by not winning it.
AU at best it may have been cleaned in the past
AU58-MS60..... The reverse really holds it down, though the cheek chatter and some wear on the obverse affect it as well.... I do like the $5 Indians... I have a 1909D that is really my favorite coin. Cheers, RickO
Need better pictures and really need to see it in hand for an accurate grade estimate. Luster is the biggest factor when grading $2.5 and $5 Indians and you can't tell the luster from these pictures...
