Not a real error but sort of neat 1867 $1

Clearly not real but curious piece. Wonder who made it and why. Maybe a counterfeiters test run?

Edit: They got the date seemingly way too the left (do any 1867 $1 have the date that far to the left?) so maybe a handmade die and not a counterfeiter making a mold from a real piece?

    Wow... not even a reasonable facsimile....not all counterfeiters were competent....and not all could afford to bring in an expert from Italy ( :D ).... little joke there.... ;) Seriously, many individuals have tried... and likely some are still trying.. to make fake coins.... this is just a poor example.
