This guy didn't have any feedback so I was tentative on buying from him so I bid on items with a return policy.

Then I discovered he was sharing coin images across different lots.

I called ebay to complain and I reported his misleading titles and "gray area deception". He toes the line just enough and plays dumb just enough. Of course now I can't see finished auctions to show proof of this to you guys.

So I win the auction and tell him I'm not interested now that I figured this all out. He says it's shipped. I reply he can't get shipping info until I pay. I let him know he has the option for the underbidder to accept, in lieu of me backing out.

Now he's saying it's paid for and shipped.. on my end, this isn't true.

I'm looking at his other auctions and some are a little less misleading than in the beginning. The bidding doesn't follow break points; e.g., if someone wants an ROI of 33% they stop at xyz, 50% abc, 100% cde.. none followed typical bidding.

He just sent me another message I won't be getting my money back and eBay is siding with him? Obviously this isn't true after receiving correspondence from the security team.

No idea why he isn't shut down yet. They said investigating can take a few days or more and can't divulge action taken against him or information on pending investigations.

His end auction prices are curiously low, each time I communicate he claims I owe for another item.. very shady.

Just a heads up.

Edit: he suddenly has 3 more feedback since I initiated conversation with him and ebay about him being a troll or scammer or both. Pretty convinced now he's buying his own stuff for feedback.

People do that for "Buttbook" 'friends' too.

This guy has a Morgan and peace listed.. is that Morgan a bad dip or counterfeit? I've yet to see a shared image since I brought it up to him.

Be careful going through. I think it's fixed but some of the item descriptions have non-HTML secured content. Some images have imbedded malware. I asked my wife to check her phone and it went nuts, my dad checked his and same thing happened. I reported all these but not sure if it's been fixed.

I had bid on a couple of those as he had double dimes hidden in with the quarters, but I was outbid long back.

I see he has four feedback now and all from different buyers, a couple with higher numbers.

I don't see anything too odd but I have not looked that close. Your comments give a little concern. I will have to watch and see how this plays out.

The malware sealed the deal for me.

the pictures are consistent - not sure on authenticity
malware could be eBay sponsored advertisements

I never paid for the item. It was never marked shipped. He just canceled the order a few hours ago. What in the world?

Oh boy... fun and games with the ebay scammers..... let us know if anything develops... I think it will just fade away.... Cheers, RickO

It is very odd that he sent it out without receiving any payment. Don't open the package and refuse delivery when it arrives; take picture as well as note the registered weight. Good luck.
