    Looks like a regular cent that has been pressed into a lead planchet- kind of. Either that or the photo is mirrored and incorrect.

    That makes cents. so PMD., Any other theories .....

    Not really PMD as the host coin is not damaged and the lead "coin" is a counterfeit.

    Could be pressed into lead. Could be pressed into sheet zinc or other metal.

    Likely not an uncoated planchet. They weren't making Zincolns in the 1970's.

    I need to pay more attention, yes not PMD, but counterfeit, and I did not even consider the date ...... time for more coffee.

    Wow.. Amazing that someone paid $152.50 for this... obviously a soft metal slug, compressed between two cents in a vise....... Sorry to see someone lose their money... Cheers, RickO
