I suppose it's OT but they grade toys too?
I probably shouldn't have been surprised...

Experience the World through Numismatics...it's more than you can imagine.
Does Frank Fritz from American Pickers use them for oil cans? Neon beer signs?

...before I started really getting into collecting coins I made some pretty good money using the above company by sending them toys I would hustle from comic con down here in san diego...it was fun, coins are funner
I did not know that.... seems there are grading services for almost anything now... Have not seen one for firearms or knives yet.... though there is a condition standard for firearms... just not a service. Cheers, RickO
I recently received some mail from the school my kids go to. Apparently even children are graded!
One teacher apparently felt that my daughter was doing fine in calculus.
Dunno about grading, but I searched years for this cap gun.
I had one when I was a kid and the hammer broke off. "No sweat" thought I. I will just go get another one for ...I dunno... $1.29 maybe. Maybe even 79 cents. Toys were kid-affordable in the 1940s.
BUT the dime store was OUT.
So were all the OTHER dime stores. Even the TOY stores.
I was bereft. I pined for my "Long Tom" and gave up hope. A few decades ago, when I was "into" toy dealing (and toys were WORTH dealing in) I wouldn't pay the $1000 up price for one.
They are about the rarest cap pistol around. Kilgore Long Tom
2 years ago I found this one on eBay and got it for a "reasonable" price. WAY reasonable it turns out as it looks like they are still scarce and seldom offered.
I'm "toy"ing with selling it now. Not sure about that though.

This was my FAVORITE cap gun when I was a kid.
Not only that, but it's POPULAR... further down the page

HAPPY COLLECTING
Only for CAC pistols.
@topstuf - Don't pull the hammer back. I hear that they break off.
If you had your train graded, it would have been six figures!
If I had the club I'm gonna whack Barndog with graded, it would be "DAMAGED!!!"
