The 10 o'clock position for my toner Morgan coin clock has been filled!

ElmerFusterpuckElmerFusterpuck Posts: 4,918 ✭✭✭✭✭

This fits that slot quite nicely. The 1882-S is one of my favorite toned Morgan dates, due to quite a few of them having killer luster, great strike and that bowl-like look, especially on the obverse. This one is graded MS-65.

    Nice.

Deep dish Morgans and pizza. Both scrumptious.

Do we get a picture of the clock? Do you crack the coin for the clock or does it stay slabbed?

    Very nice.

That 82s is stunning by the way. Congrats.

Even though it's a bit chatty on the reverse, beautiful and worthy GEM, for sure!

What about the minutes? When done, are you going to punch a hole in that center reverse to stick on the hands? Hmmm.....the toning is quite nice, though. ;)

Are you going to do one with reverse toners?

I’m a big fan of your clock plan! :sunglasses:

Sweet 82-S .... as you said, the best toner ‘bowl-ers’ out there when you can find them.

Neat idea. Ever try switching it up so the untoned part of the coin faces the middle of clock? That way when it is complete, it forms an untoned circle.
