1984 $10 gold commemorative mint mark question

Is this the only US coin that has 4 different mint marks for the same year?

    No. 1854-1857 half eagles: C, D, O, S (& P not counted)... same with 1854 & 1856 quarter eagles.

    No, there are some earlier issues as noted in prior post.

    Of note, however, is that the 1984-D $10 gold Olympic coin is the only officially-issued Denver Mint proof coin.

    Excellent point. Which raises the question: were they actually struck in Denver, or were they struck for it by one of the other Mints, rather than install all of the equipment necessary to strike Proof coins in Denver?
