Very Original coin when viewed in hand. Actually I think if this coin would have been carefully dipped it would have went up a grade.

Your 1928-S is a really nice, honest AU. Anyone would be pleased to own it.
Yes on the large S.
Large S AU-55. They don't come more "Larger than life" on a 1928 than that.
Edited to add: don't think it makes FSB, just a hair short.

Agreed, eye appeal. Toner #2 has it. Much of the market likes white and lustrous or great toning.
Not crazy about either one but prefer the '24.
I think the fingerprint on the 24 is just broken up enough as to not detract from the eye appeal.

I like the '28S and think it might go 63, maybe higher with a dip, but don't. I don't really see wear, but maybe it's my monitor.
