My two favorites in one nice neat package,
Silver Bicentennial in a rattler, yeah buddy...

All I need now is the quarter and half.

I like the coin and the holder.
    You do too.
It's quite likely a scarce coin in a rattler.
    Nice pickup.
    Not dreck.

I had hundreds of Rattler slabbed IKE's back in the day.

When they came out with the new style holder I sent them all in and had them reholdered.

Never liked the rattler,,,,,,, coin would never stay properly rotated.

But you could whack them on your hand enough times and spin it back around!

I'm from New Yawk and @Laurie is from NJ. She doesn't know dreck from scheisse!
Discriminating numismatists with Yiddish-speaking grandparents would surely classify this example as a schlocky widget.

Of course, @Laurie's grandparents may have come from the next village, where the "wrong" version of Yiddish was (mis)-spoken. Note that @Laurie is not credited with adding "dreck" to the numismatic lexicon; however, this writer no longer italicizes the word, quite simply, because it doesn't end with a vowel. :o

I had a holed and plugged 1792 Half Disme a few years ago. The buyer and I agreed it was a rare piece of crap :# .
Classicists like myself would consider the OP example as "stuff", but the rattler is "cool" and I concede my snobbery in not knowing if it is a pop-top >:)

With a gold sticker it would be "cool stuff" to the snootiest. ;)B)

The term "widget" does not have Yiddish roots and still bears further investigation. :*

    Also, I agree with @ricko :)

If this does not clarify things for you, rethink your pronunciation of "disme" o:)>:):p

To be clear I love that example. Bicentennials have a special spot for me.
I was 11 in 1976, was a fun time, my Dad would save all the Bicentennial quarters he received for me.
Being in a rattler makes it all that much better.
    Not Dreck, but fun...
