There are a few of them in the PCGS showcases set registry section.

As part of my standard Registry set I have a Morgan dollar in every grade from VF25 to MS67 except for AU50. I have no intention of getting a coin that is lower, though.

I had a PO01 through MS66 set of capped bust half dimes. Sold the majority of the circ ones.

I have a circulated grading set of 1895-S Morgans in PCGS holders – all 19 grades from Poor-01 to AU58.
Assembling it was difficult and extremely educational.

    When in doubt, don't.

Working on two cent pieces, 1864LM, AG-3 to MS-65, last two are in for grading. The NGC Set is complete. Heading toward an Exhibit at future MSNS Convention. The Exhibit will focus on market grading vs. ANA technical standards. Including evolution of market grading based on grading done over a period of years based on holder ages. No pics yet. Biggest challenge was finding and making the lower grade coins.

Years ago I considered trying this with a set of Morgans.... then life occurred and never got very far with it. Now, I just do not have the interest to do it... Cheers, RickO

A collector was trying to sell a complete grading set of every denomination of gold coins a little over a year ago. He had two sets of the $3 and told me that one set was on display at a NYC coin shop. Apparently, ANA and a few dealers passed on the set and last I heard it was not sold.

I only saw the inventory of PCGS slabs, grades and dates. I did not see the coins.

Casually working on an NGC and PCGS 3CS sets. The middle grades are available and affordable - MS64+ not so much. It will take some work to make the PO1-F15s.

The coins are so tiny it'll be very challenging to locate them in lower grades. Good luck!

I’ve got most of a Peace dollar grading set for 1922 from PO01 through MS66. I’m missing most of the VF coins though. Easy to find...... slightly unreasonable to pay grading fees for enough coins to guarantee hits at each level. We’ll see what happens. I need an MS67 which is a big deal in 1922-P.

Yes. And as I said, not willing to commit a lot of $...

    NGC ... need PO1-VG6, F12, VG20, AU53, MS60, 61, 65&up
There are a lot of F12s out there from the Stack 57th St Collection, but I have very low opinions of that grouping. Some of the higher grade coins are OK, but most of the low grade grades are (IMNSHO) gifts...

    PCGS ... need PO1, FR2, G4, XF45, MS60, MS61, MS64&up

We'll see if I find anything @ the Grapevine coin show today
