Came across this last night in a box of miscellaneous junk that I bought a long time ago - so no need to tell me to pass and look for a better one 
Records indicate I paid $1.25 for it, probably about melt value at that time.

Generally speaking, such an award for habitual coin abuse MUST go to the Mexican 8 Reales coin.
Supposedly,this is a plate coin from 'Chopmarks by Rose'. I've owned it about 15 years, and it just resurfaced in my messy mess last week:
This puppy has been chopped enough that it is slightly concave.

It looks like it was turned into a crude love token with the script lettering and holed, then later counterstamped on the reverse, then later graffiti was done to the reverse. Yes, I wished it could talk!
