New peace with a little color.....new pics

I've been looking for a nicely toned peace dollar for a very long time, and am quite pleased with this example. I believe she was worth the wait.
The images are from the auction.

Crusty Color. Looks like a sugary treat!
I must say that I do like it. It is very unique. Having the reassurance of a green bean makes it better in this instance.

It's as pretty as a beautiful Irish gal after two weeks of sunbathing during spring break in Florida.
I too have had a thing for toned coins, it's nice you found what you wanted.
How can you see the rub (AU-58) thru that color?
BHNC #203
I am glad that these coins find a loving home..... Much like rejected pets, they all need love and care.
Cheers, RickO
You made a fine choice. A true rarity to have a Peace dollar with what appears to be textile on the reverse.
Both sides are attractive! Love the obverse, it looks like a galaxy.

Toned Peace dollars are difficult to locate. I love original toning, but this one is just a bit too dark for my tastes.
Congrats on your Peace!

Not really my cup of tea but I can see why people like them.

Very nice!
This isn’t a little color, this is a TON of color! The reverse is exquisite. The obverse is quite dark but no one is going to make you turn it over.
To me, the reverse toning isn't textile, but elevation chromatics around the relief of the feathers.
Cool coin. A bit too close to terminal toning for my taste, but nice luster might tip the scales in its favor.
Peace with nice color are rare. That one is nice.
Something can't be, 'very' unique.
Nice one! I started with the lighter tone with my 1st "rainbow"

That’s pretty cool! I like it.
AU58 rainbow reverse-up Peace $ with a green bean?
That’s a rare bird.

Nice addition
Best place to buy !

Thank you for all your comments. I will try to post better pictures when I receive the coin.
I was so looking forward to Ricko's comment, and as always, he didn't disappoint. Love this place.
Wondered who the proud owner was when I said “Sold”.
Congratulations I loved it at lot viewing.

Well done, I was watching that auction too. Congrats!
Love the Reverse!

I did watch that one, very intriguing coin. Please post pics when you get it, I have found that their auction pics can vary quite a bit (positive and negative) from the coin in hand.

Very cool color... pretty rare on a Peace Dollar. Congrats!
Wow! Nice color
Love the reverse...

that coin needed to be found and stabalized a number of years earlier. as Bryce said, it's a little too dark and close to the end of the line for me. you should hope it doesn't have any contaminants left on the surface or it will change in the holder. all that said, it has a lot going for it.
It has some color that's for sure. The only thing that concerns me with coins that are toned soo dark is that they are getting close to the point of environmental damage.

So should we name the coin "Tide Pod"?
Thank you again for all the comments. I should have the coin in hand within the next week, and will post better pictures when she arrives.
Comforting to know that those who have seen it in hand, including JA, seem to quite like her.
I like the reverse and wish the original submitter had ordered a True View.
Intense! Wow.
On the edge of terminal toning. Should have been rescued a little earlier, IMO.
Lance.
That's pretty heavy duty. I like it.
Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.
It wouldn’t surprise me to see it in a MS holder if resubmitted a few times.
Agreed. Or an AU53.

A VERY Unique coin, and one that I too would be proud to own. The toning is very unique and the coins is very special as a specimen piece.
OINK
Well finally got the coin in hand, and I couldn't be happier with her. The auction pictures portrayed much darker toning on the rims, and the blazing luster really allows the colors to pop.
Although the new pics are poor (best I could do with my cellphone), they at least portray the coin closer to it's in hand look.
