The only dogs I have are coins.

Nice pictures. :) Looks like an awesome dog. My sister had a Chihuahua and he was put down just shy of a year ago. He was basically the whole family's dog, so I understand the feeling. :(

Great pics, Jon. I can see the love you have for your dogs. They are the most loving creatures on the planet. I am so sorry for your loss my friend. Just remember you gave her a great life and I’m more than sure she knew that.
All the best to you my friend, stay strong, Joe

The relatively short lifespan of dogs is a singular, ultimately painful flaw in having anything to do with them...... but they're so darn fun it ends up worth it by a long shot. Sounds like it was a wonderful friendship.

I sure know the heartache that comes with losing a pet. But we kind of know it going in so we do the best we can by them and enjoy them as much as we can while they are with us. I wish you the best.

I LOVE your new avatar, Jon. Very appropriate and perhaps more indicative of your true identity than an avatar of a coin. Some of the best people on this forum have dogs for avatars.

Maybe I should acquire a pet pig........

yeah, we rent ourselves to Dogs for a short period and tend to remember them forever. my Dog pictured below, Shyla, is still alive. we got her from the Humane Society 13 years ago and like yours she's a member of the family. back in 2005 I had a pretty bad accident, fell out of a tree and fractured my pelvis. for weeks as I recovered she'd lay next to me on the couch.

my dad always said that the best remedy for losing a Dog was to wait a short while and then get another. I hope you can find that special one to fill the hole in your heart.

Those pictures say it all. They show your love for them.

Keep her in your heart and she will remain with you forever.

I'm very sorry for your loss.
