My latest pick up. A 1972 Lincoln Cent Double Die Obverse.

Here is a scan of the Obverse and the Reverse of my latest pickup. It is my third Lincoln Cent in my type set. Take a look and let me know what you think.
As always thanks for looking.

Very good looking. And a great DDO.
Here's a warning parable for coin collectors...
Nice.
It's a beauty. I keep thinking I will find one in change, not a 65RB of course, but there is always hope.

Nice coin with alot of red! Good pickup!
That is a beautiful example of a really nice Lincoln variety.
Excellent pick up

Those are difficult to come by over 64, I don't know why, but this coin comes with a lot of chatter on the Obverse.

I always like this date, my birth year!
Yours is a perfect grade to have it in IMO. Nicely done.
That is about as nice a RB as one will find
11.5$ Southern Dollars, The little “Big Easy” set
I agree.

These are tough to find in full RD and this one is a real nice RB.
I got lucky back in the 80's and was able to snag
one in an old rattler. Well after about 30 years it is still full red.
@JRocco Nice 1972 Lincoln DDO in the old rattler, she's a beauty!!!

Nice Die 1.
It looks really nice with even RB color...good one.
I found multiples of Dies 2, 3, and 8 while hunting for #1 back in '72. I still have a few of those.
Great gem 1972 DDO Lincolns.
They are a pleasure to look at.
Sometimes, it’s better to be LUCKY than good. 🍀 🍺👍

Nice coins ...thanks for posting pics.
Nice. What's next, the 1955/1955 cent? Would make a nice pair. A double/double.
One of my favorite pieces of modern ____.
. Nice.... very nice.

Wow, awe some coin!
Excellent coin....Congratulations on a real nice specimen. Cheers, RickO
That is my plan. I am using a Dansco 7070 album as a road map to put my type set together, just in graded form so I can't pop them into the album. Right now I have 3 of the 4 Lincoln Head types.
Thanks again for all the kind words on my pickup.

Very nice edition. This is one that I don't see discussed too often. After seeing yours that is kind of surprising to me.
