I have a dozen or so unc mercury dimes. I don't know if these are worth sending to be graded. Any help would be appreciated. The obverse is blast white with full luster ass is the reverse. I couldn't get it in the photo.
Thanks
John

I have a number of rolls of nice Lincolns from the 30's. I sent a few better ones in thinking they might make 67, but no dice. Encapsulated them all, put them in tubes and put them aside for a future generation.

Unfortunately I am not able to tell from the photos. All I can say is that is is up to you and a balance of whether the grading costs are worth it for the value of the coin.

Impossible to tell from the photo of course, but the coin does look pretty nice as far as I can tell. I wouldn't be surprised if it went 66FB. If they all have FBs, it might be worth submit them under economy. (I personally would not submit -- there are so many high grade, blast white common date mercs on the market at reasonable prices that are already certified).

Use eBay search and determine what similar coins are going for. Including shipping charges, you will most likely have north of 25 in each coin to get them graded. Common dates probably won't make any sense to have graded.

I had quite a few. I gave some away as gifts when people bought higher $ items from me.
    Gave some to young numismatists.
I sold the rest to a brick and mortar for $12 each.

    Never regretted it.

The hit on this ones band will kill it.
Merks are graded on the center band and there can be no break in the split.

Nice dime, however, IMO, not worth slabbing. Cheers, RickO

If it grades MS68 you have a monster coin. No risk, no gain.

This is at best MS 66 with no split bands designation. It's a $20 coin.

    Do not have it graded!!!
