Just some show and tell...

I purchased my first ever DSLR a little over a year ago, a Canon t6i with the 18-135mm kit lens.
I have messed around with it only a little bit since I purchased it. It’s by far the nicest and most expensive camera I’ve ever owned so I’ve been a little hesitant in using it extensively until I got more comfortable with it. I’ve been paranoid I’ll ruin it somehow.
Anyways, a couple nights ago I got it set up for it’s first real coin shoot and I imaged some of my favorite raw Franklins.
Here are the results:

I think your camera does quite well rendering coins.
Keep it up..........and don't be so scared!

Great photos! Have you thought about using a black background to emphasize the colors of these halves?

Normally I edit the photos after. I’ll crop them to a white background and add a drop shadow but just haven’t done so yet.
You did great!!! Those are some really nice looking shots of your Franklin's.

I agree about trying a black background to show off the colors.

Really, really nice coins and pics! A black background would be a nice finishing touch and maybe make the coin "pop" even more! Beautiful.

Nice pics! I have been using my Cannon T4i for a while now. They are great cameras. As stated, grab a decent photoshop program and but a black background behind those and they will look very nice!

@FranklinHalfAddict Lovely coins. And great photographs. But now I'm ticked at you because you made us wait a year after receiving the camera to post these beautiful coins!
I just plain like your images, nice job!
Here are some edits of a couple of them.

Very nice, does that camera have 'live tethering' to a computer screen and do you use it?

Sweet !!!
really like the 1952s.....being my birth year has nothing to do with it
Cool. Fantastic start! If you make a few tweaks to the lighting these coins will really pop.
It can actually connect to my phone through WiFi. So I can change settings and take the shots all from my phone.
These are some of the best images of coins that I've seen on the Internet.
Me like 'em show and tell.
Nicely done
