Just putting this out there....

When I coin roll search coins..mostly nickels, when I find a specimen that I want to keep maybe for grading or collection book, or for whatever...i discovered a slick way to protect my nickels temporally. As the pictures show, Walmart brand bottled water caps press fit nickels perfects. You get a pretty good buffer if you want to isolate a coin pronto. Now the lids I believe are HDPE.. which is High Density Polyethylene not PVC. I don't know if HDPE is toxic to nickels, but its what I use to isolate nickels quickly. Maybe super noob move, but works for me. If anyone has any advice on this practice...let me know! P.S. they fit quarter too!
