I hope it's a good show since I'll be driving several hours just to get there. While I'm very happy that it's in Conroe this year and not back in downtown Houston, I am concerned that it may have gotten a lot smaller and just not have the bigger dealers with quality stuff. I guess I'll find out this Friday.

If you get a chance and it isn't too burdensome, would appreciate a brief report. Haven't been there in some years and am curious as well about the Conroe venue. Was a very good show when it was in West Houston.

Well, the 61st Houston Money Show at its new location in Conroe, TX. concluded yesterday.
From all indications, the show was a big success. The new venue seemed to please everyone, and the location amenities were appreciated.
Attendance was heavy for both days of the show, youth activities were heavily attended, exhibits were top notch, and many scouts earned their merit badges.
Tables were sold out, and several dealers commented how much effort had been put into the show. They seemed well pleased.
Change is always challenging, but the Greater Houston Coin Club appreciates all those who supported this show and were part of a positive 61st Houston Money Show.
Went on Friday. First, it is a long drive from Houston, not sure the name and location of the show are in sync. The show attendance seemed decent. Looked like it attracted a different crowd from the prior shows. The facilities were nice. Almost left without buying anything but decided if I'm driving multiple hours I'm buying something.

New location. Over 100 dealers, all tables full. Promises to be a great event.
That sounds great.... Usually has good attendance every year... I look forward to show reports... Cheers, RickO
