The 1807 is courtesy of a forum member. Reasons I love this forum are because of the camaraderie, knowledge, friendliness and sharing that goes on here. Not only did I get a great addition to my growing VF-XF Bust Half collection, but I also received generous tutoring in my photography skills, and, just as importantly, made a new friend. Enjoy.

These are simply perfect for their grades, all there! I like collecting in VF-XF in bust series as it is a real challenge to get coins like yours. Well done!

That 1817 just blew my socks off!

I had an inkling that the 1817 had some luster and color to it from the website picture, but I was blown away when I opened the mailer and saw the light reflect off the coin. I couldn't wait to image it and see if I could bring out the color. I tipped the slab up a bit from flat to shoot it, and the coin lit up from the lighting. Thanks for the nice comments.
