2018 Conratulation set

I searched and found no link on this offering today. I thought it was a big deal last year. There are no limits but it is showing unavailable. Anyone else grab a few of these today? Any thing making this special like the W Eagle?

It was a big deal last year because of the mint mark

Oh boy. I'll lol (a lot) if some twit bought the existing stock to try to corner the market.

I suppose we'll know when the sales report comes out...

How can you corner the market on an unlimited mintage item? That WOULD be a major LOL. Probably will all be returned (like EU Set) when they realize these will be available all year

Latter this summer they are coming out with a Silver Sanfrancisco Mint coin should be a hot one providing they keep the mintage low!

I don't know how else it would become unavailable unless someone bought out the existing stock. I assume if the sets weren't ready, they'd just push back the release date.

    I hope I'm wrong. I hope people aren't that terminally stupid... :D

I'm trying to corner the market on 2017-D cents. So far no one suspects a thing!

    Oops . . .

Well, the mintage on the 2017-D cents is capped at this point.

The big guys bought these to get the First Day of Issue Label. The next batch release may not even qualify for First Strikes

They are not available probably going to limit it to 50,000 last minute and call it sold out and say " Sorry too bad "

MCM has it at $249.00 " Come and Get It! "

    Can't say that a " W " Mint mark excites me!

Not even one available on Ebay I guess they ( Big Boy's ) just Bought them all! Cranked out a PO and said I will take everything Now there stuck with them cause NO body is going to bite for a " W " mint mark! I know cause I am the KING of buying these in the past. Maybe HSN will sell them this weekend. Gonna have to tape it to find out.

No, the 2017 was an S-Mint coin, limited to 75K in this packaging and 50K in the LE Silver Set. This is your typical WP coin, which will number in the hundreds of thousands.

And the status for the product has been flipped to "Back Order".

@BackroadJunkie.... Thank you. I did order the 2017 S coin... not sure why :D However, it is a nice coin and looking at mine, I do believe I have a 70 ......Just pulled it out, and was looking at it when you replied. Cheers, RickO

2017 s mintage 125,000 winner winner chicken dinner. Please correct me if I am wrong is this the fourth lowest mintage Silver Eagle. Lowest is 1995 W at 30,125, 2011 s and 2011p reverse proof both at 98,982.

@kwags24... I have the '95W.... I do not think I have the 2011's... I got really PO'd when they did not issue one in 2009 and stopped buying them for a while. I should go back and fill the holes.... maybe I will do that. Cheers, RickO

I believe the 2008-W reverse of 2007 is under 50,000.

    What's a "Conratulation" set?

Is that where you wish someone "Many Happy Rat-turns of the Day" ? Or maybe Sweeney Todd's new meat pie recipe? ;)
