shishshish Posts: 1,215 ✭✭✭✭✭

Picked up several copies of Dick Osburn’s & Brian Cushing’s new LSD book at the show. I wanted to thank them for all their hard work writing this much needed comprehensive book. Congratulations gentlemen! I’m confident your work will serve as an important reference for many years to come.

Numismatically, when somebody says 'LSD', I instantly think of English predecimal coinage, not U.S. seated dollars.

This is not an area I am currently focused on, but I like having an extensive numismatic library. So time to add another.... ;) Never know when the bug might bite.... Cheers, RickO

I finally "sold" most of my library.
    To a nearby shop.
Of course he never paid and has conveniently forgotten which books they were so I don't go near his shop anymore.

edited to put quotes around "sold."

I ordered my copy of the new Seated Dollar book prior to FUN, and requested it be mailed (due to size / weight) vs. picking it up at FUN. I did stop by Dick and Brian's table and Dick let me flip through a copy of the spiral bound version that i ordered.

The FUN show was a great one for me.

Can't wait to spend more time with the book when I receive it!
