Closing in on my "10 year goal". Of course it's taking me 16 years and counting to do so, but still...
Completed a very nice looking, matched set of barber Halves in VF-AU. I would have liked to fine tune the set to XF-AU, but I sold the set off. I don't have the determination to start over. Reselling coins has become too expensive. Well, that and buying coins that aren't 20% - 75% overpriced is the other challenge.
notwithstanding that I have mastered the art of "Buy high, sell low", I think I am done buying high and selling low.
Mine is still in progress but it's a project with no actual end, so I am just happy to make progress on it.
It is having at least one coin from as many years as possible. I have not looked at my chart or collection in about 5 years but I think I have the 1880s to today represented. Well, no 2018s yet. Not too shabby when your monthly budget for the hobby is about $10.
Finishing my 20th century mint error set well under the 20-30 years others mentioned it could take.
Breaking the 100 mark on Lyman Low 183 Hard Times Tokens which was a cool milestone, but since no one has ever finished a set there's no completion pressure.
Every other regular coin set I've ever finished over 4 decades in this hobby has been pure cheesecake in comparison.
To Err Is Human.... To Collect Err's Is Just Too Much Darn Tootin Fun!
I had a goal of being the first to have a complete Mercury Dime Variety set. It made the number 1 spot in the registry in 2009, and retired the set while still number 1 in 2012. Since then there have been added requirements, and I have owned the complete set again, but just not posting it as complete. I did have one of the 1919 DDO coins for about a month, and I had all three of the 1945 DDO graded MS64 by PCGS at one time or another. I did have two of the 1945 DDO at one time and posted them as twins.

Becoming a member of the Bust Half Nut Club is definitely my most significant Numismatic goal that I’ve accomplished thus far.
I like nicely toned AU and MS (when I can afford them) Bust Halves and getting to 100 different die marriages took me quite a long time (although I did take a 4 year hiatus), so finally becoming a member last year was very exciting for me.

Have 10-12 items needed to complete my US type collection, then transferring to the dark side.

Draw a circle around it and call it a bullseye.
