'89 toned Dime in change

Is it common that circulated coins tone like this? It caught my eye when i got it back and set it aside. I've only seen toned un-circulated coins. How should i store this, id like to keep it!

It appears to have been lost shorty after issue, buried, dug up much later and recirculated. It isn't what the toned coin crowd wants. Value is 10 cents.
That reverse is pretty nice.
Thanks, not looking or expecting a home run though value wise, just thought it was very odd to find I loose change and unsure how to store it to keep it looking pretty. And mainly just the reverse, I think the obverse is gross
Definitely looks as if it spent some time under a car seat or some such unfriendly environment.... Buy an airtite or blank slab to preserve it.... not sure it will not progress anyway, depends on what the residues on the surface are. Cheers, RickO
