Absolutely beautiful coin in hand! Expensive but liked it.

(The original post of June 21 was updated July 7 with new data.)

I haven't posted numbers in a while... Sales through week 14:

Very consistent numbers. At 175/week, this issue will sell out in 8.4 years.

    7/16/201723,572160$1,640

Given the small number on 7/2 and the relatively large sale the week after, I wonder if the 7/2 report was incorrect...

Can we assume this coin will be available for purchase from the S Mint until the end of the year?

Don't we wish. Probably it'll disappear abruptly this coming Fall.

I really dislike the reverse! The eagle looks sad and defeated, definitely not soaring.

I like the Bald Eagle in direct flight; it is flapping like this one I saw this month.

I like the obverse, I just wish the stars were smaller.

The reverse, though.. come on! It's uninspired high school year book art of an eagle. I was hoping for a Connecticut Half Dollar type eagle or an '84 commem dollar type.

I would have skipped the eagle all together and done a high relief liberty bell.

Agreed, everyone will have their opinions -- the obverse is just fine. The reverse is a BLECH on the design scale.
