Probably the two that I do happen to own
The two gold half unions would be a nice set.
the first one I would take too.
Second one would be the 1795 Eagle.
Nice choices !!!

Sorry TDN - I would want the 1804 Childs dollar that the Pogue currently owns. That would be a perfect match with your 1794 dollar. Together, those are the sweet.
Perhaps there are much better choices, one of mine would be an EXHR; however, to answer the OP's question using only two coins I should take the Panama-Pacific Slugs and then have a nice complete registry set.
Well, aside from TDN's beautiful coins, I have always coveted (and my yet acquire) the $50 gold PanPac...just something about that coin... and I would also like a CC Morgan, in PCGS 69 DCAM....Just because... Cheers, RickO
I have always loved proof $20 libs in dcam.
Perhaps one day I shall buy one
The $50 gold PanPac made me start collecting when I saw it as a child. I was always partial to the octagonal, but if I had one, I'd want both... just hate to break up the set you know?
Insert witicism here. [ xxx ]
There are some good candidates from your type set
yes could be, I was totally blown away by the 1794 half Cent and the 1796 Cent when I saw them again for the first time. But then the Chain Cent is so important, the 1793 Liberty Cap has some red, the 1796 quarter Dollar looks like a specimen and the 1795 Ten is an unbelievable coin - I probably would not be able to choose two of them.
So how about the 1804 Ten in PR 65 and the Brasher Dubloon in 64.
I'd take PRC's 1795 $10, still my all-time favorite coin. Then the Pacific and Co. Territorial $5 in AU-58.

48 CAL quarter eagle, 54-S quarter eagle, Oregon Beaver 5 dollar gold (sorry that is 3).....

Easy.
I haven't seen either in person, I would love to. Based on pictures, I like the Koshkarian's toning better but the 96 date better.

Oh I dunno, but I like TDN's answer.
Maybe a couple of gem-state genuine 1964-D Peace dollars.
I would own a proof 70 1895 morgan silver dollar, probably would spend what ever it would take to find one, and a MS70 1916 D mercury dime and what ever it would take to find one.
Time to wake up now...
Yeah, this and the 1849 $20.
But I'd want them on display, probably lend to Smithsonian, go visit and examine closely every once in a while.

I've always loved the Pan-Pac octagonal slug and have had a special affinity for San Francisco gold, so:

Where does "The Coin" reside these days? It would be one of the two.
Since I like Civil War era history I would probably pick a Confederate Half Dollar. And a 1804 Dollar for the second coin.
ANA-LM, CWTS-LM, NBS, TAMS, ANS
I'd like a Pan Pac gold set, in original holder.
But one would be just fine....
