Did I miss something??

I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

Even if there was something,.........you wouldn't be missing anything.

    MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Nope. Probably the EU set replaced the EU NA dollar set.

It's only December 24, I'm looking for an announcement any day now!

Actually, I would since I'd much rather pay $14.95 for the Enhanced Uncirculated Native American Coin and a Dollar bill than the $29.95 for a Set with a bunch of coins that I do not want nor have any hope of reselling. In short, junk.

My wifes High School was Sequoia High School in Redwood City which has been around since 1895 and it has a very wide spectrum of Alumni. Most have no idea that a coin was issued that bears the name of their school and for a famous Cherokee. Namely, Sequoyah.

I thought that they would make great gifts for some of her friends.

My thoughts exactly! I collect only the dollar coin and these are needed for a truly complete set (minus the pattern, of course.)

I would be a buyer of quite a few EU sets (minus the Native American dollar) at $16.00. The Lincoln cent and Kennedy half alone easily sell for more than that. Hardly "junk".

It wasn't $14.95, it was $13.95 with an instant $1FRN rebate. (They've had rather useless S/N's on the notes in the past couple of years. For the most part, it made that half of the set... worth $1.)

May not be junk, but I am surprised the Mint didn't have a "cheap" stocking stuffer this year. The C&C set filled that niche nicely in the past.

While I do not collect the series, it is upsetting to have a break in the run for those that do collect. It really ticked me off when they skipped the year for the ASE...Cheers, RickO

    Yes, me too.
If I remember correctly for the UNC Burnished ASE it was two years...

The 2017 ATB quarters clad proof set, at $14.95, might qualify.

Issues like that are for collection only. They're often attractive, have interesting histories associated with them, etc.

    But there's utterly no after-market.
