A photo journey -- Depictions of eagles on US coins

The American bald eagle, our national bird, has been depicted in numerous poses and forms on the obverse and reverse of US coins. Today I researched the actual number, and found 21 major eagle variations on regular issue coins. I wanted to share them with you, and so I snapped images of them from the web and posted them below.
Note that these are all regular issue US coins. I have excluded colonials and post-colonials, patterns, contract issues, commemoratives, tokens, private issues, and bullion coins. In addition, I included only major variations of eagle poses, ignoring minor differences that you will find if you look close enough.
I have also grouped them in a somewhat logical way (i.e., folded wings, open wings, and eagles in flight).
Enjoy!

@Romankow VERY nice. I really like how you ordered the eagles according to their activity. I can easily envision the eagles as they appeared through time on different coins but until your post I would have found it difficult to visualize the eagles as you show.
nice display..thank you for putting it all together
Nice pictorial display!
Are you sure that thing on the Franklin half is not a McChicken nugget....?
Did a Showcase on this subject a couple of years ago. Included moderns and commems.

@Romankow ...Excellent display and great pictures. I like the way you grouped them... certainly does show the wide variety of Eagles used... and there are - as you mentioned - many others. Thanks for a great post... Cheers, RickO
