    What is that on the bottom of the second S in STATES? Are there any other letters with odd shapes atop them?

    How about a pic of the coin? Front and back. Those ultra close ups are not really doing the job.

    Take the slab and smack it on the edge to see if it falls off the "F". It looks like some debris inside the case.

    I can't really tell what I'm looking at there, but if you take a clear close-up of the area around where the eagle's right (viewer's left) wing meets the leg, I might be able to help.
