I have had several inquires as to my well being as I have not been posting on the forum for the past year or so. I just wanted everyone to know that I just celebrated my 78th birthday and am doing fairly well. Thank you for your concerns and a merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous new year to you all.

Hey Steve - good to hear from you. Tommy reached out to me as to your welfare and I'm just getting around to respond. Let it be known you and others were part of one of the biggest CU ever thread -- controversial oh ya et al: Formative Lincoln DDRs ["errors"--shhhhhhhh]. What was the final number of posts? (BTW, wasn't it 1Tommy who started the OP?)

For the laymen, the thread collapsed when a select (appropriate) few varieties were FINALLY listed in the Cherrypickers Guide latest edition and thus qualified for attribution from PCGS/NGC (a feat). Climax was reached and the orgasm was over. The thread died and I wonder if it is still out there or archived...some of us still have inventory to sell (a shameless promotion) of these cool doubled-die varieties. IMHO a few of these are still the greatest Lincoln "error" variety since the 1955 DDO.

Here's to you Pitboss for keeping this eternal Lincoln variety in the mainstream. Happy 78 and I hope I can celebrate that birthday as well. Cheers! AK
