Nice item! Certainly not what I was expecting.
Not what I expecting either?
Surly is different.
Sure is.
...And don't call me surly.
Absolutely a nice collectable.......even "surly" above agrees......

I remember in school when they collected for March of Dimes. When you gave a dime you got a little plastic crutch to pin on your shirt.
What did they give you when you donated for breast cancer research?
That is unique... and Ms. Liberty is more attractive than on the dime... Cheers, RickO
Neat pick up, I was pleasantly surprised.
That is cool. Thanks for posting it!

LOL...Nice
This item is kind of a reminder of exactly why FDR's portrait was placed on the dime coin, and not some other denomination.
It may be obscure to people today, but it must have been very clear to people back in 1946.
I think march of dimes now only gives a dime out of every dollar to actual charity. Like the red cross , apparently where once it served a purpose now its just another grift
That's a cool pick up!

Once again you have no idea what you are talking about. The March of Dimes fundraising costs were about 15% of the total gross income. Check this out:

that's bad a** very cool item. It must be from the 40's and in really nice condition as such.
I recently saw one of these at an antique mall priced at 10.00
Bastian Brothers made some high quality litho pin backs and celloid pins. Nice item

that website gives the thumbs up to the Clinton Foundation too so I> @CaptHenway said:
maybe , maybe not. The list the directors salary at 400k seems pretty high for a real charity. Not to mention, that website also gives the thumbs up to the Clinton foundation , so how reliable can it be?
@bronco2078
Not funny, not accurate, and probably libelous of both organizations.
way cool item
That's pretty neato

@bronco2078 - As a CPA, I really hate these kind of comments. Do you really want someone that would do the job for less running your company that has $173 million of annual revenues? It does take a certain level of compensation to attract someone who is capable of competently running an organization of that size. It would be a challenge to find a company outside the nonprofit sector with similar revenues where the top executive was being paid less than $400,000.
(Apologies for going OT.)
