Mysterious box Findings - Any value? Double head Indian, Some silver- etc

I found a old wood box at a garage sale over the summer. Payed 10$ for it since the lock was missing the key for it. I got around to messing with the lock with my tools. I opened it and i found 8 coins. I pulled out what i though was worth while, bought some holders at the hobby-lobby. I looked up about the magicians (coin's) but i don't think its worth too much, Did i Win anything from this box? i mean, i know its silver and all but i was hoping to maybe at least make 10$ profit at least, i want to sell these because my collection is only home for old Russian European coins.

Welcome to the forum. You did ok. The three quarters are worth almost $10 in silver alone. I don't know anything about value of a two headed 1906 IHC, sorry.
Looks like you took a chance and ended up breaking even or so.

Welcome to the Board! Not too bad for $10 ... would likely cost you more at your local coin shop. On eBay, the three quarters may get you close to your target. Congrats.

On the Indian cent, examine the edge carefully under magnification to see if you can see a seam (take two cents, sand down the reverse, easily done with copper and glue the remaining obverses together, ta da!)

Yep.... you can recoup your $10 in silver... the IHC is a novelty coin and someone will buy it for $5.... What were the other four coins?? Cheers, RickO
That's probably the way the 1906 Indian Cent was
made by someone.
The photos aren't close up enough to know for
sure, but I don't see a seam inside the rim on
either side, although the left photo is a possible
candidate for the hollowed out side.
Odds are, given the era, that it's been split in half
and two obverses put together for a magician's
coin.

The four rosevelts are from a shop on sale on black Friday, I paid 8$ for Thoes.
My collection as I said isnt full of american coins as I'm not familiar with them as much as coins from my homeland, I got a few special silvers and proofs etc. But not usa

I wouldn't turn that down for ten bucks! It's better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick!

To me the intrinsic value of itself, being silver, being old, etc. Which i am not looking for a profit, unless its for a coin i don't care about, like the dimes i posted above. Collecting and such you understand!

I used to do that...after many many blisters I discovered a self cinching stapler!
Why should I do that?
It will keep the staples from possibly scratching another coin when they are stacked or put in a box with others that are in mylar and cardboard 2x2s.
So does the condition of any of my quarters matter? or is it just gunna sell its silver content... The 1900 One looks to me like it could be maybe a "VF" or so, I wish i could have my coins graded but the cost of the service would just make me loose money..
