Any reports from the Las Vegas show

Just thinking about the show in Vegas.
I have never been to one but enjoy the news that comes out of the show

Im there right now. Flew in this morning and flying out in a couple of hours. Show was nice. Heard ok buzz. Grading I heard was mixed. Sold a descent amount and bought a descent amount as well.
Highlights included the ice cream cart being wheeled in and then taken out-only to be brought back in and then out again- with one last final entrance and exit. Caused quite a stir among the dealers
The only report I got was the air was dry.

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......
Thought about going today but had to put it off until tomorrow.
Air is dry but not too cold to golf yet.

Ice cream cart?? That was a 'big' event at the show?? Wow... imagine if they brought in a hot dog cart...
Cheers, RickO
Those have been fun shows for me and yes, the ice cream cart can be event. It's less appealing when it's cold, but it's still good stuff. My favorite was when they held the show in New Orleans - they were serving hurricanes (drinks) one night! I've always said if they offered beer, wine or some mixed drinks before an auction it would probably get more bids!
I know this time the show is at Caesar's Palace. Good luck not getting lost in there, I've been trapped for days in the past.

RE: "...yes, the ice cream cart can be event."
Collectors have to remember that these folks don't get out much. Although the rumor that some graders have not been outside of their cubicles since 1989 is probably an exaggeration. It really does not take much to create an "event" for these shut-in people. It's likely more difficult since it's at Caesar's Palace which has no Egress.
Only needed about half an hour to find the show...
And a trail of mustard drips to get back to the parking garage.
