Updated my Mercury dime set

PTVETTERPTVETTER Posts: 6,052 ✭✭✭✭✭

I did buy 2 dimes at the Annandale coin show.
the first was an upgrade to my set from a MS66FB
the second was an addition from nothing to a MS64.
It is amazing what I will buy to fill a hole. Some day this will be replaced
I have been in the top 20 for years dropping off for a short time.
I have always tried hard to stay in the top 20 so when I dropped It hurt a bit.
Now back on it again I feel happy just like a kid only I am much older.

    Now for a true confession
The fact that I needed to fill the empty hole was the strongest reason I purchased this coin.
The fact is that 1923-S is below my normal bar.
My standards are somewhat higher than some.
