Grandiose in both his successes and his failures. Certainly the World's defining statesman of the first half of the twentieth century.
I visited his gravesite/ family gravesite to pay respects a few years ago. Near Blenheim, but not directly on that property. Many Chinese and Japanese visitors there too that afternoon.
I like your taste in "idols" ricko (Churchill+T Roosevelt) because your idols are my idols, but do you have any Isaac Newton coinage, like when he was the head honcho at the mint? Newton has to be on the top of my idol list, or really close to the top.

His likeness was captured well. As I was unfamiliar with the motto I Googled for the translation"God and my right".
That's a great looking medal. The 1st 2 volumes of Manchester's biography are really worth reading. Unfortunately, Manchester died before he could finish volume 3. Someone like Churchill really deserves a multi-volume biography!
