Is there an easy way to tell which CRO coins are new?

I can't always tell what's new, am I missing something?

I read the date on the coin. The closer the date is to the present day, the newer the coin ;)

I just read the label. Most MS64's are clearly uncirculated B) .

Yep, look for the ones on "hold" on the CRO website ;)

Yeah, those are the new ones that you wanted the most.

Yah John knows that, often coins that were quickly turned around and already sold make the list as on Hold from the very start. This kind makes customers feel they need to jump if they see something else they have their eye on that isn't already sold. Of course the easiest coins to sell are the ones that didn't necessarily need to go up on the list to begin with but why not relay demand. Good marketing is all

I posit that good coins play a significant part of that as well.

What exactly is a "CRO coin"?

  • ProofmorganProofmorgan Posts: 815 ✭✭✭✭✭

I will comment that John is not a dealer that plays favorites and is very fair to all. That said, he does not pre-sell his coins before putting them on the Early Bird. Some dealers do this and that rubs me the wrong way. Everyone has a fair shot when the clock strikes noon when John does his Early Birds.

If you spend over $100 on your first purchase, you not only get a hat, but better delivery than even Amazon drones. B)

Never ever? You sure about that ;)

I’ll say this. If you see a super-cool coin in the Early Bird e-mail, you better call him 10 minutes ago to have any shot at getting it.

If I ever grow up and become a coin dealer, I want to be just like John. One way or another he has developed a nice niche in the market. Interesting coins either find their way to him or he goes out & pounds the pavement to find them. Probably both.

If the coin is still available for sale...it was not a new addition...or one that is not very attractive...or it could be offered for "moon money", or...
