He means, perhaps, thatmuch of what is written is not to You, but to the audience at large, and that further, that's ok, because you will not understand, or will pretend not to, much of the subtlety and/ or humor, and is kind if too tired to go onto it in further depth, but not too tired to peck out a cryptic yet snarky reply for fun.
Ummm, how many apparently superfluous, obfuscatory and useless extra paragraphs did I take to say that?
Ummm, this time.

Even though we’ve plowed this ground before, the conversation is informative.
I really don’t see a reason to have any coin graded/regraded except at sale time. Having a new home appraisal done every few months is a pointless exercise, even if it comes back with a “Better Homes & Gardens” oval sticker of approval.
The price only matters the day you buy it and the day you sell it. This is especially true for investments that yield neither interest nor dividends. The market is going to take plastic, stickers, and labels into consideration when you sell it. No escaping that reality.

Well thanks for answering my questions everyone - amusing what the thread turned into =P
If the software geeks had given us better emojis, it'd be clearer that the tonal quality of amusing conveyed haha, ironic, sardonic, sarcastic, oy vey ist mir or come back next Tuesday when I'm not here.
I'm sure @homerunhall has been alerted by the mods of your incredible numbers and the leverage they should bring. Which is why your communication will be forwarded to @MarkStephenson, who should get a raise for helping you to bear your grief. You'll be on his list just above the stuff he's got to do for those folks in that Anti-Counterfeiting super-group.
